MK (KLm – Kinkaleri, Le Supplici, Mk – Associazione Culturale)

The group mk has been choreographing since 2000 in close collaboration with composer Lorenzo Bianchi Hoesch. Among the productions in recent years, Bermudas, a work on perpetual motion which has been staged more than 60 times, received the 2018 Danza&Danza Award and the 2019 UBU Award for best dance performance. Participation in the dance circuits is flanked by experimental proposals, including the Piattaforma della Danza Balinese at the Festival di Santarcangelo, projects for the BiennaleDanza, training and research workshops for l’Università IUAV, co-hosting at Teatro India in Rome for Oceano Indiano 2020-21, and the collective Radio India – Premio Speciale Ubu 2021 schedule. Roberta Mosca, a freelance artist and performer, has been a performer with the Forsythe Company for many years. Michele Di Stefano has received choreographic commissions from Aterballetto, Korean National Contemporary Dance Company, Nuovo Balletto di Toscana and the Ballet de Lorraine for a new creation in 2023. He is the creator of the BUFFALO performance cycles for the Teatro di Roma.  In 2014 he received the Silver Lion for innovation in Dance at the Venice Biennale. He is an associate artist at the Triennale di Milano for the three-year period 2022-24. Since 2010, the group has been a recipient of a grant from the Ministry of Culture (MiC).
