This project has a modular format, with variable casts and durations, dedicated to the city and the prospective view of the urban landscape. The audience enjoys the performance through headphones, overlooking it from a viewpoint of the city which is chosen from time to time. The view from above is wide and can include both close and distant places, which are linked together by the sound track (a holophonic recording with a strong cinematic feel) and by the presence of the performers.
The urban view is transformed by listening to the audio in a place that floats between the present and the possible; viewers are immersed in a landscape that is no longer simply what is in front of them, but – as in a sacred allegory – a distillate of coincidences and configurations that seem to refer to something else. The real is now blurred, now sharply focused by sound, which presides over the imaginative power of vision and enables the multiplication of details in a place of imaginary coordinates.
Strange conspiracies and mysterious activities reshape the here and now to reread the city through postures and signs of an elsewhere, investigated by restrained dances that may be very near or very far, on the horizon. Inside and outside.
Thus, dance is literally a viewpoint on the world that inscribes and affirms the figure in the space of community while suggesting an escape route.
