Roberto Tedesco studied at Balletto di Toscana and has danced with Junior BdT. He joined Aterballetto where he remained for 10 years. He has participated twice in the International Choreography Competition Hannover, winning the critics’ prize. For Aterballetto, he created Cemento for the In/Finito project and Turn la marea for MicroDanze. With Punch24, he was selected for the Vetrina Giovane Danza D’Autore. He created Andata e Ritorno for MM contemporary dance company and Stage Line-up with the Mannheim National Theatre. He created By the Throat for Ballett Vorpommern, Ad Eva for XLdancecompany and developed a new version of Superorganismo for the Think Big project at the Hannover Staatsoper. Through the Residance XL action he worked on an early study of Decisione Consapevole with which he is one of 4 finalists in DNA appunti coreografici. He created MemoriaLab for Studio XL and ended 2022 by winning the SupportER open call. He has been named a “Networked Artist” (Artista in rete) by the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza.
Körper|Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza works in the production and support for up-and-coming young choreographers and performing artists from the region of Campania, looking to Italy and Europe. The Centre’s work focuses on promoting the value of resident artists who, starting from the local area, have embarked on a personal journey that has taken them beyond Italy. It is a Production Centre that collaborates with different artists with the aim of promoting and accompanying them in their professional development.
