LUNA CENERE is a dancer and choreographer born in Naples. She is an associate artist of the Centro Coreografico Körper and was selected by the Director of the Biennale Danza, Wayne McGregor, for the call for New Choreographies 2023. In 2020, she won the Danza&Danza Award as Emerging Choreographer with the show “Genealogy_Time Specific”. Her first solo, “Kokoro”, saw her selected as an AEROWAVES TWENTY18 artist and received the Best Choreography Award at Solocoreografico 2017. In September 2019, Luna received the Premio Speciale Positano Léonide Massine as a “Talento Campano”. Her subsequent works include “Twin”, which premiered at the FOG/Triennale Festival in Milan and was selected by the ANTICORPI XL network, and “Natural Gravitation - Tributo a Isadora Duncan”, commissioned and produced by the Festival di Ravello and the Körper Company In 2021, her creation “Zoé” was selected for the NID Platform 2021.
Körper CNP|Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza works in the production and support for up-and-coming young choreographers and performing artists from the region of Campania, looking to Italy and Europe. The Centre’s work focuses on promoting the value of resident artists who, starting from the local area, have embarked on a personal journey that has taken them beyond Italy. It is a Production Centre that collaborates with different artists with the aim of promoting and accompanying them in their professional development. Luna Cenere, Giovanfrancesco Giannini, Francesco Marilungo, Adriano Bolognino, Gennaro Maione and Roberto Tedesco are some of the artists and performers supported by Körper.
